The Jeffrey Foundation
Participants in The Jeffrey Foundation Fundraiser
Every fall Volleyball Ventures asks players to bring new toys to the last event of the season. These toys are donated to The Jeffrey Foundation for distribution at their annual Children's Christmas party held in December.
At that tournament, we also are fortunate to host several Jeffrey Foundation children for an afternoon at the beach. For those of us who frequent the beach, it's hard to believe that for some of these kids, it is their first experience of the sand and sea.
Toys donated to The Jeffrey Foundation
The Jeffrey Foundation is a California non-profit corporation founded in 1972 by Alyce Keller Morris. In the years since, thousands of handicapped children and their families have benefitted from its specialized programs and professional services. The Jeffrey Foundation provides these multi-handicapped children with therapeutic, educational and recreation programs as well as helping their families in many other ways.
