VBV's 2008 GIANT Bike Race Official Contest Rules

• For each tournament the players will have a possibility of earning 100 points for this contest from their pool play.
  • The points will be earned by taking the percentage of the points possible that the person scored during pool play (the percentage will be truncated to the next lower whole number).
    For example:
    • A person scores 66 out of 66, they earn 100 points.
    • A person scores 55 out of 55, they earn 100 points.
    • A person scores 60 out of 75, they earn 80 points.
    • A person scores 48 out of 66, they earn 72 points.
      
      
• In addition, each person will have added to their score for each tournament.
  • 2 points for making the playoffs.
  • 5 points for coming in second in their division.
  • 10 points for winning their division.
    
    
• The points will be added up for all of the tournaments.
  
  
• The person with the most points for the year wins, to be determined at the end of the season, after the October 11th event.
  If there is a tie, we will draw for it.
  
  
• Other Notes:
  • The more tournaments a person plays, the greater their chance of winning.
  • The number of points a person gets is not impacted by the division in which they play.
